Folk Nation

Return to
Gang Information
| People Nation: Bloods, Latin Kings Folk Nation: Crips, Gangster Disciples | Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13)

The folk nation was loosely formed in prison as a way for gang members who were separated from their own gang during incarceration to have a way to protect themselves from rival gang members.  When asked they represented themselves by saying “I am Folk.”  Clothing and other identifiers were worn to the right or on the right side of the body.  They use the slang term “All is One” as a disrespect to the folk nation.  Their graffiti and writings will display pitchforks and the Star of David.

CRIPS

Traditionally represent from the left
Locally represent from the right
Blue and White/Black are their general colors
Pitch-forks (aimed up) and 6-pointed Star of David
The letter “B” is crossed out to show disrespect, will use letter “C” in place of letter “B”
Example: SLOBK (BK = Blood Killer)
