Welcome to the website for the Partnership on Youth Violence Prevention.  We are glad you have taken the opportunity to browse our website for resources to assist our young people who may be in need of services or just looking for activities to occupy their time. 

The Partnership is a cooperation between the City of Hampton, Hampton City Schools, and the Hampton Police Department, with support from the Juvenile Justice Court Service Unit.  The overall goal is to prevent youth violence and gang participation by linking stakeholders to community resources focused on positive youth development.

In addition to providing a link to resources, we are making violence prevention activities in our schools and communities a priority.  Our primary focus is on comprehensive violence prevention programming community-wide, which will allow everyone to be an active participant in violence prevention efforts.  Lastly, we want to continually recognize and train our School Resource Officers because they are an important resource in violence and gang prevention in schools.
